Ranjeet Singh bearer has been working in Welham since the past 35 years. Sandeep, his 18-year-old son developed a debilitating disease- Ankylosing Spondylitis, 2 years back. The disease has destroyed both hip joints, and left the child immobile. He has to be carried in a stretcher all the time. He has been asked to have a bilateral hip replacement surgery that would change his life and allow him to walk and live a decent life. He would require life-long physiotherapy and medications, but would at least be able to live a life of dignity.
Bearerji has since shown his son at AIIMS where the estimated cost of treatment would be-
Rs 2,50,000/- for both hip implants
Rs 50,000/- for medications
Rs 30,000/- for ambulance trips to and from Dehra Dun
Our teachers in school are doing a lot to help him out. Ranjeet Singh bearer has already taken several loans for his son's treatment over the past 2 years, and is heavily under debt. Reaching out to all Exies to contribute generously towards the WE-CARE fund set up by the WGAA to meet the estimated cost of his treatment.
